ΜΕΤΑ ΤΟ ΤΕΛΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΑΝΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗΣ ΑΚΟΛΟΥΘΕΙ ΤΟ ΙΔΙΟ ΚΕΙΜΕΝΟ ΣΤΗΝ ΑΓΓΛΙΚΗ ΓΛΩΣΣΑ
Το International Hellenic Association (ΙΗΑ)* αμέσως μόλις η Τουρκία εξαπέλυσε, τον Φεβρουάριο του 2020, απροκάλυπτο και έντονα επιθετικό υβριδικό πόλεμο εναντίον Ελλάδος και Κύπρου, έσπευσε να προσθέσει στο ευρύτατο πρόγραμμα των δραστηριοτήτων του και ένα πρόγραμμα υποστήριξης των αναγκών αποτελεσματικής προστασίας των συνόρων της πατρίδας μας στον Έβρο, μέσω της «Επιτροπής Έβρου».
Η πρώτη δράση του προγράμματος υλοποιήθηκε μέχρι τον Ιούνιο 2020 με την προμήθεια ογδόντα μεγάλων τεμαχίων κυβόλιθων, αξίας 4.500 Ευρώ, στα σύνορα Ελλάδος-Τουρκίας στον Έβρο με σκοπό τον αποκλεισμό διόδων εισόδου παράνομων μεταναστών και επικίνδυνων για την δημόσια ασφάλεια ατόμων.
Η δεύτερη δράση του προγράμματος αφορά την προμήθεια τεσσάρων θερμικών καμερών τελευταίας τεχνολογίας, ελληνικής παραγωγής, συνολικού προϋπολογισμού 35.960 Ευρώ.
Η πρώτη θερμική κάμερα (ελληνικής παραγωγής, εταιρίας ΤΗΕΟΝ, αξίας 8.990 Ευρώ) παραδόθηκε στις 23 Δεκεμβρίου 2020 στο Δ΄ Σώμα Στρατού (σχετικό Δελτίο Τύπου εδώ).
Η δεύτερη θερμική κάμερα, αξίας 8.990 Ευρώ, αποτελεί δωρεά των Κωνσταντίνου και Ελένης Λιανού, κατοίκων Αυστραλίας (μελών ΑΗΕΡΑ Αυστραλίας) προς το Τέταρτο Σώμα Στρατού.
Η τρίτη θερμική κάμερα, αξίας 8.990 Ευρώ, αποτελεί δωρεά μελών της ΑΗΕΠΑ Ελλάδος & Αμερικής καθώς και μελών του INTERNATIONAL HELLENIC ASSOCIATION, με την επιθυμία των δωρητών να παραδοθεί με δανεισμό στο ΚΕΤΕΣ για απόλυτα χρήσιμες δοκιμές και συμπεράσματα, πριν καταλήξει οριστικά στο Τέταρτο Σώμα Στρατού.
Η δεύτερη και η τρίτη θερμική κάμερα ΤΗΕΟΝ παραδόθηκαν, στο πλαίσιο εκδήλωσης στον χώρο του Πολεμικού Μουσείου Αθηνών (Βασ. Σοφίας & Ριζάρη 2), την Δευτέρα 26 Ιουλίου 2021. Το σχετικό πρακτικό παράδοσης και παραλαβής υπέγραψαν εκ μέρους του Υπουργού Εθνικής Άμυνας Νίκου Παναγιωτόπουλου ο Ταξίαρχος Ευθύμιος Γιαννακάκης και εκ μέρους του Ιnternational Hellenic Association, ο Πρόεδρος Capt. Ευάγγελος Ρήγος.
Επί πλέον, μέσα στο πλαίσιο δραστηριοτήτων της «Επιτροπής Έβρου» του ΙΗΑ και κατά την διάρκεια ομιλίας του Προέδρου Συνοριοφυλάκων Έβρου Χρυσοβαλάντη Γιαλαμά σε μια από τις τακτικές, εβδομαδιαίες διαλέξεις του ΙΗΑ, συγκεντρώθηκε ποσό 3.372 Ευρώ για την αντικατάσταση 85 από τις (συνολικά 300) στολές των συνοριοφυλάκων Έβρου. Οι πρώτες 85 στολές παραδόθηκαν στους συνοριοφύλακες Έβρου, σχεδόν ταυτόχρονα με την παράδοση των δύο ακόμα θερμικών καμερών ΤΗΕΟΝ στο Ελληνικό ΥΠΕΘΑ.
Ήδη συνεχίζεται η συγκέντρωση των χρημάτων που απαιτούνται για την αγορά της τέταρτης και τελευταίας θερμικής κάμερας του προγράμματος (αξίας 8.990 Ευρώ) καθώς και για 200 περίπου ακόμα στολές συνοριοφυλάκων (αξίας 8.000 Ευρώ) – όσοι επιθυμούν να συνεισφέρουν κάποιο (συμβολικό έστω) ποσό από Ελλάδα ή από ΗΠΑ, Καναδά, Ευρώπη, Αυστραλία, μπορούν να ενημερωθούν από την ειδική ενότητα Ενισχύουμε τον Έβρο της ιστοσελίδας του ΙΗΑ (https://professors-phds.com/23818-2/).
Η διαχρονική απειλή που αντιμετωπίζει η Ελλάδα εξ ανατολών και η Κύπρος από τον βορρά, από Τουρκία, απέκτησε τα τελευταία χρόνια την μορφή επικίνδυνων φαντασιώσεων ανασύστασης της πάλαι ποτέ οθωμανικής αυτοκρατορίας.
Η επιθετικότητα, η θρασύτητα και η ανεύθυνη συμπεριφορά του σημερινού, τουρκικού Κράτους-Μαφία, σύμφωνα με τον χαρακτηρισμό του πρώην πρωθυπουργού της Τουρκίας Αχμέτ Νταβούτογλου**, θέτουν σε μεγάλο κίνδυνο την ασφάλεια του Ελληνισμού.
Οι συμβολικές προσπάθειες ενίσχυσης της άμυνας και των συνοριοφυλάκωντου Έβρου τις οποίες πραγματοποιεί το ΙΗΑ, αποτελούν την σπίθα που φιλοδοξεί να αφυπνίσει μια μεγάλη κινητοποίηση του όπου γης Ελληνισμού αλλά και των φιλελλήνων σε ολόκληρο τον κόσμο, για την απόκρουση του τουρκικού κινδύνου και την αποτελεσματική θωράκιση της ελληνικής άμυνας.

Thermal Imaging Cameras And Border Guard Uniforms: IHA’s Latest Actions In Support Of Greece’s Evros Border

Immediately following the unleashing of Turkey’s blatant and intensely aggressive hybrid warfare against Greece and Cyprus in February of 2020, the International Hellenic Association (IHA) through the programs of the Evros Border Committee, rushed to add to its wide ranging programs another initiative in support of the needs of the protection of borders of the Greek nation at the Evros River border.
The first undertaking of the program was completed in June 2020 with the delivery of eighty large sections of concrete blocks, valued at 4,500 EUR, at the Greek-Turkish border at the Evros River border in order to block the entry routes of illegal immigrants and individuals deemed dangerous to public safety.
The second undertaking of the program concerns the supply of four state-of-the-art thermal imaging cameras, manufactured in Greece, with a total budget of 35,960 EUR.
The first thermal imaging camera (manufactured in Greece by THEON SENSORS S.A. valued at 8,990 EUR) was delivered to the IV Army Corps of Greece on December 23, 2020 (relevant Press Release here).
The second thermal camera, valued at 8,990 EUR, was donated to the IV Army Corps of Greece by Konstantinos and Eleni Lianos, residents of Australia and members of AHEPA Australia.
The third thermal imaging camera, valued at 8,990 EUR, is a donation of members of AHEPA Greece & America as well as members of the INTERNATIONAL HELLENIC ASSOCIATION, with the desire of the donors for the camera to be lent to the HELLENIC ARMY RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER (KETES) for absolutely valuable testing and conclusions, before its final destination at the Fourth Army Corps.
The second and the third THEON thermal imaging cameras were presented, during an event at the Athens War Museum (Vassilissis Sofia & Rizari 2), on Monday, July 26, 2021. The relevant delivery and acceptance document was signed on behalf of the Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos, by Brigadier General Efthymios Giannakakis, and on behalf of the International Hellenic Association, its President, Captain Evangelos Rigos.
Moreover, within the scope of activities of the Evros Border Committee of the IHA and during the speech of the President of the Border Guards of Evros River, Chrysovalantis Gialamas, in one of the regular, weekly lectures of the IHA, an amount of 3,372 EUR was collected to replace 85 (300 in total) uniforms of the border guards of Evros. The first 85 uniforms were delivered to the border guards at the Evros River border almost simultaneously with the delivery of two more THEON thermal imaging cameras to the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense.
The IHA project of the collection of money required for the purchase of the fourth and last thermal imaging camera of the program (worth 8,990 Euros) as well as for about 200 more border guard uniforms (worth 8,000 EUR) is continuous and ongoing. The perpetual Turkish threat facing Greece from the east and Cyprus from the north has, in recent years, acquired the form of dangerous fantasies of re-establishing the once Ottoman Empire.
The aggressive behavior, and insolent and irresponsible behavior of the current “Turkish State-Mafia”, according to the characterization of the former Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu** pose a great danger to the security of Hellenism.
The symbolic efforts carried out by the IHA to strengthen the defense of Greece and the border guards of the Evros River border provide the spark that aspires to awaken a great mobilization of Hellenism and Philhellenes around the world in order to repel the Turkish threat and build an effective shield for the defense of Greece.
