Project for support of Konstantine Katsifas family. 28.10.18. After the unexpected murder of  Constantine Katsifas,  member of the Greek National Minority in Albania, by the Albanian special forces, a new drama stated for his family, which is forced to leave in a foreign state, facing  constant harassment by the Albanian authorities and not real means of decent life, since Constantine has been the sole supporter of his family.The objective of this project is to provide all the assistance to Katsifas’ family as it happened when he was alive. Specifically :1. Constantine left his daughter Vassiliki, now 14 years old, which due to her parent’s death will not have the opportunity (financial means)  to study to a university when she turns 18. International Hellenic Association has opened an account in …………..Bank (……………)  and has created a committee, which will be responsible to supervise the money to be collected in order to provide Vasiliki, with proper financing for her higher education. IHA looks for donors, who are willing to adopt this young girl in terms of providing her with proper financial means for higher education. It is anticipated that the required funds to be spent for education in a private Institution of Higher Education, will be around € 60,000.00 for a four years’ period. Anybody  who will give more that € 1000,00 will have to right to be member of “Vasiliki Katsifas” committee and have direct control on these funds’ allocation.2, Constantine left two very old parents who try to survive with a monthly pension fund received by the Albanian State. Given the economic reality in Albania, an income of € 100,00 per month  (€1200,00 per year only!) will be adequate for these old people to meet their basic needs of life.
